Blog Rules
Basic Blog Rules:
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite
•The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day
• Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine
• You should post at least every three days
• Pages should be dated
• The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.

ReplyDeleteDid you actually figure out the perspective on this (on the chessboard) or was it guesswork?
I suppose a bit of both. If you mean, did I carefully grid out each square, then -- no. But if you mean did I apply the general rules of linear perspective to create a sense of dimensional space, then -- yeah. Does that answer your question?
