Gave myself one hour and did a speed paint study of this John Singer Sargent piece. I don't have any traditional paint, so photoshop is the next best thing i guess. Just trying to learn how he indicates drapery with such broad and abstract strokes..insane..

ReplyDeleteYou NEED to buy at least a very basic set of paints. I think it really will make a big difference in your work. Plus, it's so much more fun than painting digitally (although sometimes very frustrating)...
