I masked the figure when I did the background. That's what I 'm changing when I repaint it. I didn't like the hard line it left around the figure. What I like about watercolor is when the color starts mingling with other colors and makes cool stuff happen that you didn't anticipate. With the masking fluid it stops a lot of that from happening. Plus, I want to change the color balance a bit and use a more opaque red instead of transparent (Cad red instead of Alizren Crimson and Quad. Yellow).
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite •The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day • Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine • You should post at least every three days • Pages should be dated • The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.
