Thanks for the comment! No, there won't be any type on this side of the spread. I'll keep this in mind as I move forward. The viewers focus should stay on the girl
David, her arm is bothering me. that forearm is freakishly long in relation to her arm. I just can't get past it. It's all i can look at. otherwise i like the composition.
LOL! -- Howell, I probably read your comment with more emotion that you intended, but it still made me laugh a bit.
I'm sorry to have caused you any consternation (however inadvertently) and I will mention that this is just a rough sketch. While I am moving away from the realism that marked my early body of work . . . I haven't yet gone mad! I'll re-post this as a finished sketch at which time I hope you'll dissect the hell out of my figure's anatomy.
haha, didn't have any emotion, really... I'm not against stylization, of course. My brain just likes things to make sense is all! But if you have a stylistic reason that her forearm should be wicked long, i think it should be stylistically apparent to the viewer (?) You obviously can choose to disagree. But then we can't be friends :(
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite •The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day • Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine • You should post at least every three days • Pages should be dated • The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.

I feel way too drawn to the top of the window. Will there be type to chill it out? Otherwise cool.
