One thing tho', in my opinion you may want to downplay the exaggeration of bone information when drawing kids hands and feet (ankles, knuckles, etc). I think it looks ok with adults (males more than females).
Of course, this is just my personal take. When I draw hands and feet they are slowly being reduced to almost stick figure simplicity (don't know if that's a good thing or not).
Fair enough. I tend to break all forms down into their geometric components so joints become more visible -- plus I grew up drawing my own hands (hey, they're accessible) so a lot of my hands look like guy hands.
One other thought . . . where are your sketches from yesterday? Why haven't they been posted yet??
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite •The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day • Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine • You should post at least every three days • Pages should be dated • The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.
