Is this one from reference?? It's nicely painted, but it looks a bit off to me for some reason. Maybe the muscles and joint relationships are kinda strange. Like the giant left calf going into the skinny ankle (same fore the forearm to wrist)?
ReplyDeleteYeah it's from reference. No doubt you're right that some proportions are off. This was more about medium than rendering. I was painting in the silhouette only with heavy pigment and then scrubbing out to create volume. But what are you saying -- you don't like the Popeye girls???
