Blog Rules
Basic Blog Rules:
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite
•The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day
• Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine

• The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.

hey man, what palette are you using in your sketches (brand and color)?
ReplyDeleteThe brand is Holbein. The colors are Cad Red, Antique Ochre, Mineral Violet, Paynes Grey. But really I'm not paying attention to the colors or brands. I just use whatever happens to be closest at hand. The thing that's getting me going these days is having some area that is super thickly saturated to contrast against more delicately painted areas.
