Really neat. I can see the issue with that foot. I don't think you can pull it back like that and keep him balanced/anatomically correct the way you've drawn him. :/
Laura: Yeah, I think you're right. Unless I put the feet together like he's standing at attention (which would kinda defeat the arrogant swagger I was going for) I can't really think of what to do with it. It's just a sketch, so I'm not too worried; I just gotta keep this in mind for the next time I rush into details and anatomy without first figuring out the pose. =/
• Label your posts like this: month.day.year Name. For example, 08.17.09 LWhite •The goal is least a full page in a sketchbook per day • Any subject matter, media, level of finish is fine • You should post at least every three days • Pages should be dated • The overall goal for the sketches is to have fun and to draw when the moment or opportunity presents itself. Also to encourage experimentation and interpretation. The goal is NOT for every page to be pretty.
